effective video marketing

During the implementation of our last project, I was asked about effective video marketing. Most people have a small idea of how they can enrich their site and social media with new movies. The most frequently asked questions are to prepare one movie showing a product or company. Today I will review 8 ideas for video marketing. Read and learn a few other ideas that you can implement in your company.

In recent times, video marketing has penetrated from the niche to the mainstream. What’s more, statistics show that this trend will continue. Video content on the internet is not just Youtube. They are ubiquitous. They are an extension of articles on web portals, replace written instructions and, of course, serve to increase sales. At the same time, remember not to confuse video marketing with television advertising. In television advertising, communication is one-sided, and video marketing is supposed to be more interactive. Recipients can immediately respond to a message through comments. What’s more, effective video marketing does not have to be limited to video material, it can provide links to product information, store addresses, provide a registration page.

What is everyday life for you can be very interesting. Show your team with whom and where you work, what your working day looks like. You drink coffee together, do a morning brainstorm, or maybe someone interesting visited you? You can literally show everything. You are taking part in a training or an interesting industry event – show it too! Thanks to this, customers will be able to get to know you and your company better. 1. Show how you work, what values you believe in – video from the life of the company

One of the ways to use video marketing is to prepare video material illustrating everyday work in the company. There can be several ideas here, e.g .:

Presenting the values that guide you in running your business,
Sharing development strategy assumptions,
A story about the company’s history – beginnings, ups and downs, groundbreaking changes,
Presenting a team of employees, offices, company headquarters,
Showing a typical work day, i.e. the presentation of activities and activities that you take to satisfy your customers.

2. Product or service presentation

Video is great as a tool to introduce potential customers to products and services that are the subject of your business. And here it is worth preparing:

Preview of new products,
Discovering the next product functions from your offer,
Approximation of technical parameters using the language of benefits.

Instead of writing long specifications – show how your product works. Record a short film in which you will show how the product looks, how it can be used, tell about its parameters.

3. Educating customers, i.e. video instructions and guides

Do you have a product that requires self-assembly, installation, connection?
Forget about paper instructions. Record a short video in which you’ll show customers how quickly and efficiently they can assemble a piece of furniture, connect RTV equipment or install a program or application.

4. Question and answer

The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section is often found on websites where users can find answers to frequently asked questions. Sometimes, some issues are easy to explain during a conversation, the substitute of which is video material showing topics that are problematic for clients.

Think, what questions about a product or service do you often get? Instead of emailing everyone, record a video in which you answer these questions. You can send a link to the movie by email or play it on your social media channels. Think about what might interest your audience about the product or just ask them what they would like to know. You can do a survey or simply ask a question on your fan page – this way you have a ready base of ideas for movies.

You can also get ideas for this type of video marketing from emails coming to the customer service or comments left on your site and in social media.

5. Live streaming marketing – live broadcasts

You don’t have to explain how popular live movies are.
This type of video content marketing should be used to interact with users in real time or provide the latest information on a regular basis. Live streaming is great for organizing:
webinars,
Hangouts
Reports from events, gala events and meetings broadcast live.

6. Reports on events important for the industry or your company

Make a movie of important industry meetings, company events. if you have participated in industry events, galas, meetings, briefly tell us what happened at these events. More engaged customers who are watching your business on social media accounts will be curious about how your business is changing and what’s going on.
If you were training, take advantage of the video promotion and show how you educated your students and what knowledge you shared with them. Be sure to add subtitles to your YouTube video so that poor sound quality does not discourage users.

7. Case studies – success stories of your clients

You don’t need to remind you that Case Stady is interested in your clients. This confirms that your help works and brings results. If thanks to your products or services another company has improved financial results, show off such an achievement.

Prepare a case study, indicating your role in the contractor’s business processes. A well-prepared video will become an inspiration for others, as well as a great way to promote your image on the web.

8. User-generated content – videos from users

Every company that operates on social media skillfully has several brand agents, i.e. customers who always or very often comment on posts, or regularly make purchases in the online store. By observing your brand on the web, we can find a lot of people who are positive about your service or brand.

Encourage them to become even more involved by, for example, organizing a video competition presenting the use of your products. Then you can use the footage as a way to promote your business.
